Radio code for Renault (after battery change) – help?

I just changed the battery on my 2018 Renault Capture and now the radio is asking for a 4-digit authentication code. I checked the glovebox and the owner's manual, but I can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can get this code without having to drive to the dealership and pay their crazy service fees? Is there a way to find it online for free?

You can actually get it instantly online for FREE. There are two easy ways:

1. Use your VIN: It’s on your windshield or registration papers. No tools needed.

2. Security Serial: If you pull the radio out, look for a barcode on the side. You need the "Security" code (1 letter and 3 digits, like A123).

If it's the original factory radio, first check if the code is stored in the Renault app or any paperwork that came with the car. If not, you'll usually need the radio's security/pre-code from the label or display.
